Travel and Visiting Info

The Parthenon hotel is centrally located around all major Athens tourist attractions. The Athens Acropolis (where the famous Parthenon monument lies), the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Herodion theater are just a few minutes away on foot. Plaka, Monastiraki and Syntagma Square are also round the corner.

The Parthenon hotel is approximately 50 minutes away from the Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos)  and the taxi journey from the airport normally costs around 30-40 euros. Alternatively, at the airport you can take the Athens Metro blue line (direction to Aigaleo) and get off at Syntagma Square. Then take the red line (direction to Agios Dimitrios) and get off at the Acropolis Station which is located right in front of the new Acropolis Museum (see map below). Parthenon hotel is located at 6 Makri street, 150 meters from the station.

For your transportations you can also use the tram which takes you to the Athens beaches. The closer tram stop (L. Vouliagmenis) is 5 minutes on foot away.
