Cyclic Difference Sets

Cyclic difference sets are widely used in many research areas and there are an important combinatorial tool. A (v,k,ë) cyclic difference set is a subset D = {d1, d2, ..., dk} of the integers modulo v such that {1,2,...,v-1} can each be represented as a difference (di - dj) modulo v in exactly ë different ways. Details on Cyclic Difference Sets and the up today known results and open problems can be found in http://www.ccrwest.org/diffsets.html.
